Cold Laser Therapy

Cold laser therapy, also known as, PHOTOBIOMODULATION THERAPY (PBM) or Low level laser therapy (LLLT) is the application of low power coherant  light over injuries or lesions to stimulate healing. The laser reduces inflammation, aids in wound and soft tissue healing, and gives pain relief to both acute and chronic pain. Application is pain free with no heating effect, unlike surgical lasers. Although cold laser therapy is commonly used for soft tissue injuries, joint conditions, neuropathic pain and pressure ulcers, it also treats a wide variety of injury and disease.  Cold laser therapy is a major advancement in healing and is rewriting the medical books on what is possible for chronic injuries, pain management, neurological impairment, and facilitating the healing process in disease conditions.

Laser therapy has been shown to stimulate the regeneration of bone, blood, the lining of blood vessels, cartilage, nerve, muscle and much more.  Moreover, it has been documented to enhance the quality of healed tissue. Laser therapy may be an ideal treatment.   It may not only effectively address many medical conditions but also has been widely reported to improve health and wellbeing as evidenced by a host of biological markers. In addition, it enhances the body’s immune system response and facilitates natural healing.

Testimonials

After suffering a concussion from a motor vehicle accident I was convinced to try laser therapy as treatment for my symptoms of headaches, confusion and blurred vision as there is no other cure and the symptoms will drive one crazy.  After just one treatment I felt quite a bit better and after a week of staggered treatments I felt like a million bucks.  Only problem was it took all the symptoms away making one think they are cured however I strongly encourage one to not to try and start normal activities right back up as then my symptoms returned.  However, a couple more treatments and once again I felt great.  I did then take some time off my regular activities for the next three weeks and my symptoms never returned.
